Arrival Day
Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport at approximately 8pm and transfer to Arumeru River Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Arumeru.

Day One: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, drive to Tarangire to discover the giant termite mounds and baobab trees of Tarangire. This park is famous for its large elephant population, scenery and diversity of birdlife. Game drive in the park from 11:30am until 5pm. Dinner and overnight at Swala Camp, a small luxury camp situated in a beautiful acacia grove. Tarangire's wildlife includes elephant, lion, giraffe, warthog, ostrich, impala and baboon.

Day Two: Tarangire National Park
Leave the campsite at 6:30am for an all day game drive in Tarangire. Eat a packed lunch in the park. Return to the Swala Camp at 5pm to watch the wildlife drink from the water holes near the camp.

Day Three: Ngorongoro Crater
After a late breakfast at Swala, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Proceed to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for dinner and overnight.

The Crater's resident wildlife includes lion, zebra, cheetah, wildebeest, hippo, elephant, and flamingo.

Day Four: Ngorongoro Crater
Spend six hours game driving in Ngorongoro. Return to the Crater Lodge and spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge.

Day Five: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park
Leave the Crater Lodge at 7am for Serengeti National Park. Game drive through the park until reaching Mbuzi Mawe at 6:30pm. Mbuzi Mawe is a tented camp located between the Central Serengeti and Lobo.

Species commonly seen in the Serengeti include wildebeest, cheetah, zebra, lion, giraffe, impala, topi, and leopard. The Serengeti is also home to more than 540 species of birds.

Day Six: Northern Serengeti Region
After breakfast, take a flight to Klein's Camp, located in the Northern Serengeti. The migration should be located near this region in October, making Klein's Camp one of the best choices for Serengeti game drives. Game drives are arranged directly with the lodge.

Day Seven: Northern Serengeti Region
Early morning game drive from 6:30am until 11am. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Go on a second game drive after lunch. Dinner and overnight at Klein's Camp.

Day Eight: Northern Serengeti Region
Spend a final day in the Serengeti Region. Dinner and overnight at Klein's Camp.

Day Nine: Klein's to Zanzibar
Leave Klein's Camp at 8am for the airstrip. Take the 9:45am flight to Zanizbar, connecting through the Serengeti and Arusha. At 2pm, transfer from the Zanzibar airport to Matemwe Bungalows, a luxury lodge on the east side of the island.

Day Ten: Zanzibar
Spend a full day in Matemwe. Dinner and overnight at Matemwe Bungalows.

Day Eleven: Zanzibar
Spend a full day in Matemwe. Dinner and overnight at Matemwe Bungalows.

Day Twelve: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam
Transfer to Stonetown Airport after lunch. Take an afternoon flight to Dar es Salaam where you will await your international flight.
