Day One: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart Kigongoni Lodge at 9am for Tarangire National Park. The drive to Tarangire is approximately two hours. If you would like to stop at an ATM or grocery store on your way out of town, please let the guide know. Game drive in the park until reaching Oliver’s Camp at 5:30pm. Day Two: Tarangire National Park
Go on a morning bush walk in Tarangire. Return to the camp for breakfast. Go on a game drive in the park before returning to Oliver’s for dinner. Plan your game drive departure time directly with the guide. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Day Three: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Go on a final game drive through Tarangire National Park. Leave the park at approximately 12pm for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight Lemala Tented Camp on the Crater rim. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Day Four: Ngorongoro Crater
Depart at 6:30am for a full day Crater game drive. Return to Lemala Tented Camp after the game drive for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Resident Crater wildlife includes lion, hyena, elephant, wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, flamingo, hippopotamus, and cheetah.
Day Five: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Depart for the Serengeti after breakfast, visiting Olduvai Gorge along the way. Game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park before reaching Migration Camp at approximately 6pm. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Species commonly seen in the Serengeti include wildebeest, cheetah, zebra, lion, giraffe, impala, topi, and leopard. The Serengeti is also home to more than 540 species of birds.
Day Six: Serengeti National Park
Game drive in the Northern Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Migration Camp. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Day Seven: Northern Serengeti National Park
Transfer to the Northern Serengeti, viewing animals along the way. Reach Sayari Camp near the Maasai Mara border at approximately 5:30pm. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Day Eight: Northern Serengeti
Spend the day in the Northern Serengeti. Arrange game drive times directly with the guide. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Day Nine: Serengeti to Zanzibar
Fly to Zanzibar at 10am. Transfer to Matemwe Bungalows. Stay in the Retreat, a perfect hideaway for honeymooners. Enjoy room service, a private beach and a rooftop plunge pool. Diving and other beach activities are also available. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Days Ten through Thirteen: Zanzibar
Spend the day at Matemwe. (B, L, D, soda/alcohol selection and laundry services included)
Day Fourteen: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport in time for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Await your international flight home. (B)
