Day One: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, drive to Tarangire to discover the giant termite mounds and baobab trees of Tarangire. This park is famous for its large elephant population, scenery and diversity of birdlife. Game drive in the park from 11:30am until 5pm. Dinner and overnight at Swala Camp, a small luxury camp situated in a beautiful acacia grove.

Tarangire's wildlife includes elephant, lion, giraffe, warthog, ostrich, impala and baboon.

Day Two: Tarangire National Park
Leave the campsite at 6:30am for an all day game drive in Tarangire. Eat a packed lunch in the park. Return to the Swala Camp at 5pm to watch the wildlife drink from the water holes near the camp.

Day Three: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
At 8am, leave Tarangire for Lake Manyara National Park. The drive to Tarangire gate is approximately two hours. After reaching the gate, drive for another hour to Lake Manyara. Game drive in Manyara eating a picnic lunch in the park. At 6pm, leave Lake Manyara for Eunoto Maasai Camp.

Wildlife commonly seen in Lake Manyara includes elephant, baboon, giraffe, hippo, flamingo, and various water birds.

Day Four: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
Game drive in Lake Manyara from 7am until 9:30am. Leave for Ngorongoro at approximately 10am. Begin your Crater game drive at approximately 11am and spend six hours viewing wildlife. The largest unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters. The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. After your game drive, proceed to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

The Crater's resident wildlife includes lion, zebra, cheetah, wildebeest, hippo, elephant, and flamingo.

Day Five: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park
Leave Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge at 8:30am for Serengeti National Park. Stop at Olduvai Gorge before continuing to Serengeti National Park. Game drive in the park until reaching Serengeti Serena Lodge at 6:30pm.

Species commonly seen in the Serengeti include wildebeest, cheetah, zebra, lion, giraffe, impala, topi, and leopard. The Serengeti is also home to more than 540 species of birds.

Day Six: Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive from 6:30am until 11am. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Game drive again in the afternoon from 3pm until 6:30pm. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Seven: Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive from 6:30am until 11am. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Leave for Migration Camp at 2:30pm, game driving along the way. Migration Camp is a luxury lodge on the road to Lobo. The migration should be located in this area in September. At Migration, stay in the designated honeymoon tent.

Day Eight: Serengeti National Park
Go on another early morning game drive in the Serengeti from 6:30am until 11am. Return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon rest. Go on another game drive from 3pm until 6:30pm, returning to Migration Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day Nine: Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar Matemwe
Leave Migration Camp at 7am for a final game drive in the Serengeti. At 10:45am, fly directly to Zanzibar via Arusha. Arrive in Zanzibar at 2pm. Transfer to Matemwe Bungalows, a luxury hotel on the eastern side of the island.

Day Ten: Zanzibar Matemwe
Spend another day on the beach at Matemwe. Matemwe has a PADI dive center, and you can arrange dives to Mnemba directly with Matemwe.

Day Eleven: Zanzibar Chumbe
Leave Matemwe at 8am for Chumbe Island. Take the 10am boat to Chumbe and spend the rest of the day on the island.

Day Twelve: Zanzibar Chumbe
Spend the day at Chumbe.

Day Thirteen: Chumbe to Tembo Hotel
Depart Chumbe at 9am for Stonetown. Arrive in Stonetown at 10am and drop off your belongings at Emerson & Green. Explore Stonetown for the day. Dinner and overnight at Emerson & Green.

Departure Day
Depart Zanzibar for Dar es Salaam and your international flight home.
