Arrival Day
Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport at 8pm and transfer to Arumeru River Lodge outside Arusha. The transfer is approximately one hour.

Day One: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, drive to Tarangire to discover the giant termite mounds and baobab trees of Tarangire. This park is famous for its large elephant population, scenery and diversity of birdlife. Game drive in the park from 11:30am until 5pm. Dinner and overnight at Swala Camp, a small luxury camp situated in a beautiful acacia grove. Tarangire's wildlife includes elephant, lion, giraffe, warthog, ostrich, impala and baboon.

Day Two: Tarangire National Park
Leave the campsite at 6:30am for an all day game drive in Tarangire. Eat a packed lunch in the park. Return to the Swala Camp at 5pm to watch the wildlife drink from the water holes near the camp.

Day Three: Tarangire National Park
Spend another day in Tarangire. Return to Swala Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day Four: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Leave Swala after breakfast and go on a final game drive in Tarangire until 12pm. Leave for Ngorongoro, eating a packed lunch along the way. Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge at approximately 4pm and relax at the lodge for the rest of the evening. The largest unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters. The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. The Crater's resident wildlife includes lion, zebra, cheetah, wildebeest, hippo, elephant, and flamingo.

Day Five: Ngorongoro Crater
At 10am, leave Crater Lodge for a six-hour game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Return to the lodge at 6:30pm for dinner and overnight. Species commonly seen in the Serengeti include wildebeest, cheetah, zebra, lion, giraffe, impala, topi, and leopard. The Serengeti is also home to more than 540 species of birds.

Day Six: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, leave for Serengeti National Park. Drive for two hours before reaching Serengeti National Park, stopping at Olduvai Gorge along the way. Proceed to the Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Seven: Serengeti National Park
Leave the lodge at 5:30am for your morning balloon ride. Launch at 6:30am and fly over the Serengeti for one hour before landing in the bush for a champagne breakfast. Return to the lodge at 9:30am. Game drive in the Serengeti for a bit before returning to the Serena Lodge for a rest. After lunch, depart the Serena Lodge at 2:30pm for a Central Serengeti game drive. Return to the lodge at 6:30pm for dinner and overnight.

Day Eight: Northern Serengeti National Park
Fly from the Central Serengeti to Kogatende Airstrip. Upon arrival at Kogatende, drive to Sayari Camp, approximately twenty minutes from the airstrip. Your game drives while at Sayari will be scheduled with the camp.

Day Nine: Northern Serengeti National Park
Game drives around Sayari. Dinner and overnight at Sayari Camp.

Day Ten: Northern Serengeti National Park
Game drives around Sayari. Dinner and overnight at Sayari Camp.

Day Eleven: Northern Serengeti National Park
Game drives around Sayari. Dinner and overnight at Sayari Camp.

Day Twelve: Northern Serengeti to Zanzibar
Depart the Serengeti from the Kogatende Airstrip. Arrive Zanzibar and transfer to the Zanzibar Serena Inn.

Day Thirteen: Zanzibar Stonetown
Explore Stonetown during the day. Overnight at the Zanzibar Serena Inn. (Tour not included)

Day Fourteen: Zanzibar Matemwe
9am transfer to Matemwe Bungalows. Matemwe has a PADI dive center, and you can arrange dives to Mnemba directly with Matemwe.

Day Fifteen: Zanzibar Matemwe
Spend the day at Matemwe Bungalows.

Day Sixteen: Zanzibar Matemwe
Spend the day at Matemwe Bungalows.

Day Seventeen: Zanzibar Matemwe
Spend the day at Matemwe Bungalows.

Departure Day
Depart Matemwe for the Stonetown Airport. Fly to Dar es Salaam in time to meet your international flight.
