Lobo Wildlife Lodge

Like all Wildlife Lodges, Lobo has an excellent location. It is situated on a rocky hilltop 80km north of the Central Serengeti. The views from the lodge (and the lodge's pool) are beautiful and Rock Hyrax and Vervet Monkey often hang out around the common areas. Similar to the Seronera Wildlife Lodge, the common areas of the lodge are very nice and offer panoramic views of the Serengeti.

The lodge has 75 rooms and can accommodate around 150 people. Electricity is available during the mornings and evenings and is shut off at 12am. There is a TV lounge, bar and restaurant. Tanzania Hotels and Lodges, Lobo's owner, recently renovated all of its properties and the lodge is in better condition than it was. Lobo is best visited from June through July and again in November when the migration is moving through that area. It is also a cheap way to access the Northern Serengeti as most of the other lodges in that area are more than twice the price of Lobo Wildlife Lodge.
