Ngorongoro Manor

Ngorongoro Manor is a luxurious lodge set in a coffee plantation outside Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The architecture is reminiscent of a farmhouse in the Cape Region of South Africa. In addition to the large farmhouse, there are twenty guest cottages including one three bedroom family cottage on the property. The spacious central farmhouse has several rooms including a library, bar, game room, dining room, and indoor and outdoor seating areas. Each guest room has indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a patio overlooking the coffee fields, bedroom, and sitting area. The bathroom has a large tub, rain shower, and a tile floor that can be heated during cold weather. The grounds consist of several elaborate and well-maintained gardens. Spa facilities are also available.

We highly recommend staying at Ngorongoro Manor for at least two nights in the middle or at the end of a safari. Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara are both easily visited from Ngorongoro Manor and other activities include horseback riding and coffee tours. A safari that combines Ngorongoro Manor, Tarangire Treetops and Migration Camp is eligible for a discount on lodge rates.
