1. Duma Explorer's New Office

2. Shinda Basic School Update
From July 21 through July 27, twelve students and two group leaders from Outlook Expeditions volunteered with the Duma-supported Shinda Basic School. While at the school, the group participated in several activities. Their first project was to build a hole for storing water for the trees and grass that are being planted around the school. Next, the students painted the bathrooms and drew pictures of Mount Meru on the building. The 4,566 meter Mount Meru is visible from the school grounds.
Another group of eight students and two leaders worked in Moshi from July 22 through July 27 with the United Nations Development Program and the Mkombozi Vocational Training Center. The group built fuel efficient stoves, planted trees and built a fence with Tanzanian students from the Mkombozi Center.
After the volunteer week, the students and leaders from both Outlook groups climbed Kilimanjaro and went on a safari with Duma.
