1. Website Redesign

Duma's webmaster, Mana Tominaga, spent much of August redesigning Duma's website. Please visit our new homepage at www.dumaexplorer.com and let us know what you think!

2. Gear upgrades

Following the busy summer season, Duma made several equipment upgrades for both safari and mountaineering trips. Duma purchased two high quality mountaineering mess tents, a large, 15-person tent from Marmot, and a smaller, 10-person tent from Mountain Hardware. During climbs, the tents are set up at each campsite and serve as a warm refuge from the freezing temperatures on Kilimanjaro. The floor is removed, and tables and chairs are arranged inside the tent.

3. Open Trips

We've moved our open trips postings to the itineraries page on our website. If you have friends interested in a Duma trip, please refer them to the new itineraries page.

4. Testimonial Request

As always, if you enjoyed your trip with Duma, please send us a testimonial for the website. We'll post a picture of you with your testimonial and send you a complimentary Duma t-shirt.

5. Did you know?
