I recently went on a trip with Duma Explorer in Tanzania to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Mt. Kilimanjaro. I had a really great experience with Duma, not least because their guides were so knowledgeable and experienced (thanks Isaac and Zawadi!). Their gear was first-rate, new and in good condition, and we ate really well, which was particularly important for me as a vegetarian (great soups and veggie stews with every meal).
My flight from Amsterdam was delayed, and I missed my connection. I was able to e-mail Duma and arrange for them to pick me up at the airport and transport me to my safari group before they got too far out of Arusha. I was consistently impressed with their level of service and professionalism, and I had such a positive experience, saw all the animals you could want to see and was able to summit Kilimanjaro.
On the final summit up Kili, I had some "altitude issues" and one of Duma's staff walked with me to the top, ensuring and encouraging me to make it (and I did). It was easy to book the trip on-line with PayPal, and Duma's website is impressive. If I have the chance to come back (fingers crossed), I will definitely go with Duma again.
