What’s New

Alika Africa

We now run trips throughout East Africa and have updated our name to reflect this. Our East African company name, Alika Africa, was chosen by our Tanzanian director, Omary Ridhiwan. Alika means ‘invite’ in Swahili. We warmly invite you to East Africa, Africa’s top destination for safaris, gorilla trekking, and mountain climbing.

Nonprofit Partnership

In January 2022, we partnered with Inuka Tusonge, an Arusha-based nonprofit organization providing skills training to low income women. As a corporate sponsor, our 2022 funding covered 40% of the organization’s operations for the year. Graduates have gone on to college, started their own businesses, and work in shops and restaurants. One even climbs Kilimanjaro with us!

Tanzanian Safari Guides in Rwanda!

Six of our Tanzanian safari guides are in Rwanda on a professional development trip. They will visit Nyungwe National Park for chimp trekking, Volcanoes National Park for gorilla trekking, Akagera National Park for boat and vehicle safaris, Lake Kivu, and Kigali as well!
